1. INTRODUCTION
This Cookie Policy explains how Autonoma (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (https://autonoma-studio.com) and web dashboard.
By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, remember your preferences, and provide analytics.
Types of similar technologies:

- Pixels/Web Beacons
- Browser Fingerprinting (limited)
3. COOKIES WE USE
Two. That is the whole list.

The marketing site at autonoma-studio.com sets no cookies of its own, and neither does the desktop application, which is not a browser.
There is no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Both cookies above are strictly necessary for signing in, which is the category that does not require consent. If a third cookie is ever added for any other purpose, a banner has to arrive in the same change as the cookie.
3.1 What this section used to say
It declared eleven cookies across four tables, and not one of them exists:
session_id,csrf_token,license_token,auth_token— none of these names is used anywhere. CSRF protection is real but is not a cookie: it is an HMAC of the session id, rendered into each form and checked on submission.theme,language,dashboard_layout,collapsed_panels— the account pages have no theme switch, no language switch and no configurable layout._ga,_gid,_gat— there is no Google Analytics, and no analytics of any kind, on the website or in the application.
Meanwhile the two cookies that ARE set were not declared at all.
Declaring cookies you do not set is not a harmless over-disclosure. It describes data collection that is not happening, which is exactly as inaccurate as failing to declare collection that is — and in this case it described a product that watches its visitors, when the real one does not.
4. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
None.
The website is static files served from one server. There is no analytics provider, no CDN in front of it and no embedded third-party content, so nothing on it is in a position to set a cookie.
Checkout, when it exists, happens on Lemon Squeezy’s own pages under their cookie policy rather than on ours.
This section previously listed Stripe, Google Analytics and Cloudflare. Stripe processes no payment for Autonoma (see section 3 of the Payment Terms), there is no Google Analytics, and the site is not behind Cloudflare.
5. COOKIE DURATION
Session Cookies: Deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent Cookies: Remain until they expire or you delete them.
6. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES
6.1 Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete cookies (all or specific)
- Block cookies (all or third-party only)
- Set preferences for specific websites
Browser cookie settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies
- Edge: Settings > Privacy > Cookies
6.2 There Is No Cookie Banner
You will not see a consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to: the two cookies in section 3 are both strictly necessary for signing in, and nothing else is set.
This section used to describe a banner offering “Accept all cookies”, “Accept essential only” and “Customize your preferences”. No such banner has ever existed. Describing a consent control that is not there is worse than having none, because it tells a reader their preference was recorded when nothing asked for it and nothing stored it.
6.3 Opt-Out Links
None to give. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking service to opt out of. This section previously linked to Google Analytics’ opt-out page, which was of no use to anyone here.
6.4 Consequences of Disabling Cookies
If you block cookies for this site you will not be able to stay signed in to your account: every page will ask you to sign in again, because staying signed in is the only thing the cookies do. Nothing else changes — there are no preferences to lose, and the desktop application does not use a browser.
7. DO NOT TRACK
Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. You can control tracking through cookie settings and opt-out links.
8. LOCAL STORAGE
We do not use it. Neither the marketing site nor the account pages read or write localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB.
This section claimed local storage was used for “dashboard state persistence”, “cached data for performance” and “offline functionality support”. None of the three is true of anything served from this domain. The desktop application keeps its state in files on your own machine, which is not browser storage and is covered by the Privacy Policy instead.
9. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
